You need an owner or admin role, access to your DNS provider, and an available custom-domain slot. Check your allowance in Billing. If you already use your main domain for a website, use a separate address like blog.example.com.
Open Settings → Publishing → Custom domain and DNS. Enter the hostname under Blog address and select Add address. If Confirm this address belongs to your blog appears, add the TXT record shown at your DNS provider, keep your existing records in place, and select Verify DNS and add address. Then continue with the connection record on the address card.
Open the DNS settings for your domain at your DNS provider. Add the CNAME from PixelClaw. Copy Name / Host and Value / Target exactly. Leave TTL at Auto or default. For Cloudflare, set the record to DNS only.
Return to the same address card in PixelClaw and select Check connection. If Finish HTTPS setup appears, add the extra records shown, then check again.
When the status is Live, open the HTTPS address in a browser. Select Make primary if you want PixelClaw to use it in blog links and the sitemap.
If the address is still pending
Waiting for DNS means the expected record has not been found yet. Compare the host and target with the card and expand DNS setup help if your DNS editor asks for a full hostname. Setting up HTTPS means DNS is connected and certificate setup is in progress. If the card says Needs attention, follow its specific next step.
